  Iron, IVA

TKW 230 kg. Fall not observed. First found 1906 in Sweden.

Jesper writes:
A nice natural octahedron from the Swedish IVA iron meteorite Muonionalusta.

It is not cut out or ground in any way. It is the natural shape loosened by an air hammer - not a perfect octahedron, but close. The basic shape of the Widmanstätten pattern.
