18.32 kg.   Iron, IAB-ung

TKW 24 MT. Observed fall: no. Found 1911, Western Australia.

Jürgen/jnmczurich writes:
A former 40.5 kg Individual was cut with an ordinary automatic hack-saw in the almost middle in two large end sections. After polishing the cut faces, I kept the smaller 18.32 kg end section for my collection. The holes are up to 4 cm deep and can be used as a perfect working pen holder. The larger end section is within the ETH Zurich meteorite display (Focus Terra Exhibition) since many years.

Great Mundrabilla iron indeed. Wonderful the missing troilites (outside) as well as the present troilites (inside). Only one feature missing: the rabbit. Greetings to Zurich - Matthias

Beautiful illustration for Mundrabilla's pattern of swirling troilite in this specimen's metal cut face. Thank you Ju:rgen for kindly sharing this section with us and for sending the other for display at one of the worlds finest scientific institutions!
