33.68 gram fragment.   CM1/2

TKW 2.55 kg. Observed fall 1 August 2020, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia.

Only 26 meteorites, to date, with this classification.


 


Roberto writes:
Kolang is an awesome witnessed fall and a rarer classification (CM1/2) with a very low total known weight. This 33.68g fragment with crust fell off of the 2 kilogram main mass/hammer stone that smashed through Josua Hutagalung‘s roof in Indonesia on August 1st, 2020.
