321.9 grams. 170 x 170 x 5 mm.   H6

TKW 19 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1970, Nullarbor, South Australia, Australia.

A 'donga' is a transportable building with single rooms, often used on remote work sites or as tourist accommodation.

From the MetBul:
One stone of 19 kg was found by a rabbit hunter about 10 miles north of the town Fisher...

Nice full slice with lots of starry metal! A "Donga" , in the true sense of the word, is a geological feature, typically on the Nullabor Plain, a limestone outcrop supporting a range of vegetation and fauna...much like an oasis in the desert. The reference to accommodation is a popular connotation derived from the "campsite" reference to the geological feature.

Nice Big Rock, thanks Jurgen. And glad to finally know what a Donga is, I always wondered, thanks Paul.

Wonderful and really good sized fullslice of an extremely rare Australian H6 - must confess that I have never heard before of Big Rock Donga.
