TKW 69 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2012, Al Bahr al Ahmar, Egypt.

 


Timur writes:
This oriented individual sample of chondrite (photo 2) is the first meteorite found by Timur Kryachko on the Red Sea coast. The search was conducted on foot.

The melting crust on the back of the oriented meteorite is thick and crystallized. Photo 1 shows a thin section I made of this part of the melting crust.
