18.2 grams. Found just a few days ago!   unclassified

Todd writes:
On November 4th, 2015, I set out hunting an area of the Mojave Desert in Southeast California. As I was rounding my loop back toward the vehicle, I discovered this 18.2 gram individual resting in some decomposing granite on an alluvial flat. Its getting nice out here now that we have dropped below triple digit temps for good

Thanks everyone. Michael, I found an area with large patches of DG, colors vary, surrounded by dark desert pavement. I try and cover most of this old ground but really love the lighter colored patches that have a higher contrast to the meteorites.

Nice find, Todd. I have hunted similar surfaces in the general area as well, glad to see one pan out.
