Nice piece! Dark matrix for sure, What is the composition of the matrix? I see you have one of my scale cubes. Thanks for buying that one.

You're right John, no crust but a very dark matrix. This is certainly not a recent fall.

While at first glance it may look like it, but there is no crust in this photo. It is the dark matrix of this possible melt-like L6 chondrite with a few vugs helping to give it the crusty outgassing look.
