MATTHES J. et al. (1988) The Linum Chondrite (Meteorities 23, 1988, p. 378, excerpt): Linum is classified as an L6b chondrite ... Shock facies *b* is assigned to Linum because of the undulose extinction of olivine, the presence of at least 50% undeformed plagioclase, and the absence of maskelynite and melt pockets (Dodd and Jarosewich, 1979).

Anne, wow...that is a very rare piece! And Linum is only 39 miles away from my hometown. Nice large piece!
