John writes:
This submission is to show some details of the fabulous meteorite NWA 2968. This meteorite was initially sold as a dunitic diogenite, and ultimately became an ungrouped achondrite.

The first piece I purchased was a beautiful almost black (95% olivine w/metals) fragment weighing 0.103 g from Dirk Ross. Note: This was the one and only time my wife got involved and told a "dealer" to leave me alone...and it was Dirk Ross, who then told me to get my wife under control. If he only knew... :/. I still laugh when I think about the whole episode with Dirk...if you are out their reading this, "sorry about that Dirk".

Actually...my wife enjoys my enjoyment with all things meteorites...as a hobby and for help with our retirement.
