I went to the Osiris-Rex open house on August 27, 2016, at the University of Arizona Kuiper Space Center and visited the Flandrau Planetarium afterwards. They have a pretty good meteorite collection on display in the basement, along with lots of minerals. This is one of the specimens on display. It was contributed by the Fred Hawley Estate.

I know exactly where that is (close to Cool Springs), but had no idea a meteorite was discovered near there! |
