6.64 grams.   L6

TKW 200 kg. Observed fall 11 June 1949, Chelyabinskaya oblast', Russia.

Bernd writes:
This part slice of Kunashak was purchased from Michael Farmer on May 29, 2001. It shows delicate shock veins, an armored chondrule in the lower right (5 o'clock position) and it has abundant FeNi.

When Michael offered Kunashak 17 years ago, he wrote:
I have just placed some very nice pieces of the Kunashak L6 breccia on my website. This is a beautiful old Russian fall, hard to get, out of Moscow Academy of Sciences.

Interesting about the lack of fusion crust, and glad you were smart enough to purchase it!

Kunashak is an amazing Meteorite, just like Aba Panu, virtually no fusion crust.
