247 grams.   unclassified

José writes:
The Dark Knight

The meteorite, a thin section, and scanning electron microscope images.

Another jewel of the sahara desert, the piece has an oblong shape, the matrix is so dark that it mingles with the fusion crust. Provisional classification appears to be a shock-darkened L5 chondrite (S4, W0-1). The data have already been submitted to the Meteoritical Society and I am awaiting the NWA number and the publication in the Meteoritical Bulletin Database. Soon, I hope.

I would love to see that barred olivine chondrule (Picture 8) under polarizing filters.
