What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?
Thin section between crossed polarizers.   L3

TKW 1584 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2006, Algeria.

Don't miss the zoomable hi-res picture on Krpano.

Solar writes:
A cool looking L3 chondrite without much description in the bulletin. It does make a nice photography target and the images I took turned out surprisingly well. The scattered black inclusions are especially worth exploring.
