Small iron metal inclusions such as the one pictured here are actually very common in lunar breccias, Gourgues. Also, considering that it was found in the NWA 7611 strewn field, I think it's safe to say that this is certainly a lunar meteorite. Very nice specimen, Rob! |

Denis, we won't know if it is a lunar until it has been classified. So is it being studied and classified? And who is doing the classification? It should be Randy Korotev, he is the expert. |
