  Lunar (mare basalt)

TKW 158 grams. Fall not observed. Reportedly found in 2021 and purchased by Ziyao Wang in 2022 from a meteorite dealer in Mauritania.

Based on the TiO2 content of quench melt this meteorite is a low-Ti mare basalt.

WOW...for a Lunar Basalt individual! I'd love a half hour to turn that "cut" face into a Triple-WOW!!! Recommend 12" hole-less diamond lap plate to start the process...240 grit is a good choice as a starter. Finish with higher lap plates and/or sandpaper(s).
