Doctor Arthur Ehlmann
Born in 1928 in Saint Charles MO - Died in 2017 in Fort Worth TX

Dr. Ehlmann's first great love, professionally, was teaching and he joined the Texas Christian University in 1958, teaching in the class room and, even better, out in the field.

In 2001 he met Oscar Monnig, owner of a large meteorite collection, and then Art Ehlmann discovered his second great love: Meteoritics.

He retired in 2008 at the age of 80, after 50 years of teaching. TCU staff, faculty and many of his former students celebrated by crowning him King Arthur, much to his amusement.

His kindness, great knowledge, and sense of humor, will be greatly missed.
