I love CR2’s and the best of them have both great color and visible metal content with armored (surrounded by metal) chondrules.

Pic 1: Cut surface, reflection minimized, showing a variety of orange-brown and multi-color chondrules. I haven’t seen many black-armored chondrules before (upper right) and curious if others know what the black material is.

Pic 2: Uncut surface, chondrules protruding

Pic 3: The best part of CR2’s—shiny metal armored chondrules in reflected light

Pic 4: What’s not to like—lots of interesting and armored chondrules and a smile (on the right)!
