Matthias, the only picture of Mincy I see is on the Met.Bulletin. Not a very good picture. It is one of those very rare meteorite you dream about but never see. And sorry, but I don't have it. |

Fabulous, Anne. My first thought before reading "Udei station" was "mesosiderite", and reminded me of the new theory, dedicated to the origin of pallasites: not from the core/mantle border region, but resulting from very early accidents of planetesimals. But I don't know whether this theory covers mesosiderites too, and at least it is a medium octaedrite. So: fabulous, simply fabulous. |
