A mineral grain in a thin section of impact breccia from the Rochechouart impact structure west of the city of Limoges, south west of the center of France. The sample is from the Chassenon Quarry. The grain displays two clear sets of planar fractures. The field of view is 0.3mm wide. Cross-polarized light.
