Yes, it is the one on display in Ensisheim. And during that show we had a beauty contest going, we were all, public and dealers, asked to vote for the most beautiful meteorite in the display cases. NWA 5000 slice came in first, the 1200g Tatahouine came in second and this Karoonda was third.

Very good guess Wendy. Yes, it is bird poop, and it was already on it when it was found some 2 weeks after the fall. And it is still there, no one has had to courage to try to remove it. Maybe afraid to damage the crust. And No, I don't know what kind of bird! ;-)

Thank you everybody, yes it is a spectacular piece, and the largest on the market, only a couple museums have anything that big. The white spot? No, not a CAI, and not a label either. I'll let you guess a bit longer, but I'll be back. ;-)

Beautiful! The white area doesn't look like a CAI. Probably an artifact from the desert or maybe the owner started to label it and thought better of the idea.
