You're welcome John, I didn't know you collected thin-sections! ;-) Yes, Skip Wilson has found an amazing number of meteorites in that county alone, 110 according to the Met. Database. |

thanks Anne for your contribution. Skip Wilson, who you mentioned with the Macy find, is a meteorite finding legend for those that don't know the name. He has a lot of the New Mexico finds, and was part of the Portales Valley fall story too, I believe. As for Macy...I have a really nice thin section of this shocked meteorite. |
