Later on I showed up at his studio (he is Paul Whitby I finally found his website and name ) and showed him a few iron meteorites too which he found awesome as to weight and shape, he had never held any before. I should take my big Sikhote Alin to show him, he will really like that too.
thank you for all of the wonderful comments, I just printed them off for Paul and will take them to him when I get downtown soon. More later!

Twink...my suggestion for an art label for you would be "Kriegh's Comet". |

Thanks for following up with him, Twink. And I love the fact you gave him a slice of NWA 869.

I will go by the artist's studio sometime in the next week (probably Monday) and find out more about the particulars of this piece of art. I do know that he named it The Traveler and said he likes to show motion in his art. He was pleasantly surprised when I approached his booth and right away asked if it was a fireball. I then gave him a sliced and polished piece of NWA 869 to keep which I had in my purse. He was very surprised and happy, he did not own any meteorites he said. So check this site in a few days and I will post more information later. |
