220.3 gram individual with a Huss number   Iron, IIIAB

TKW 2 tons. Fall not observed. Found 1931, Northern Territory, Australia.

Matthias writes:
Sculptered individual with the distinctive laterite-red patina. I was lucky enough to acquire this piece many years ago from Jeff Kuyken's "Meteorites of Australia" collection. Jeff wrote:
This 220.3 g sculptured individual is a rather fascinating specimen for it's size. It was found 1.5km NE of the craters where most of the best Henbury individuals were discovered. The specimen appears as a tripod shape with a domed top but the underside has three more obvious protruding points and a small valley running through the centre. It also has the natural Australian desert patina that the Henbury meteorites are famous for.
