What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?    
0.348 grams.   Martian (chassignite)

TKW 611 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2000 in Morocco.

Peter writes:
The slice of black Chassignite was used to make the thin section.

Thin section photos are in PPL (plane polarized light) and XPL (cross polarized light).
