Kyahinya was well distributed by the old mineral dealer house "Rheinisches Mineralien-Kontor, Bonn/Germany" in the 19th century. Today it can be found in many old museum and university collections and also in some private collections. The large individual (521.9 g) was originally sold from the Knyahinya material stock of Adam August Krantz after his death to the Mineralogical Museum, University Bonn/Germany.
