As I was told:
Nininger made it a habit of always having meteorites in his pockets and when he would stop somewhere for lunch or coffee he would pull a meteorite out and place it on the counter in front of him, waiting for comments. In Lorenzo Nebraska, just north of the Colorado border, a rancher quickly spoke up "I have one just like that!". It was the Lorenzo meteorite and Nininger promptly acquired it.

Great idea, John - if meteorites are your business then all of the pub charges are business expenses!
