1836 grams. Specimen 60025 (sample collection bag 3) from the Apollo 16 mission. Found sometime between 21 April and 22 April 1972, Descartes Region, Luna.   Lunar Ferroan Anorthosite

The Apollo spacecraft came through the atmosphere as a flaming bolide and smacked into the Earth releasing its innards, which included this piece. All in all, pretty much like a meteor.

Wilfrod...I'd like to think of it as a potential fragment from a large broken individual meteorite from the Moon. If sliced like NWA 482.

Technically, not a meteorite. Perhaps a pre-meteorite?
