0.44 gram slice. 16 x 10 x 2 mm.   Lodranite

TKW 3.36 kg. Fall not observed. Initially purchased 2015, Temara, Morocco.

From the MetBul:
No fusion crust is evident. The interior of each stone consists of large grains of distinctly green pyroxene and yellow-brown olivine with subordinate stained metal.

ahh...just another Lodranite. such a phrase was not even a thought twenty years ago when they were so rare. I/we have been and are in "lucky" times as meteorite researchers and collectors.

Beautiful green lodranite. In photos no. 4 and 5 you can clearly see the near 90* cleavages of the green pyroxenes. Tnanks for sharing this little beauty, John!
