Bernd, the matrix is not totally black, and it is even darker than it would be due to a nice reflective polish. Can't wait to hear about the New Fall news Mike. |

John, Jeff and others ... my six specimens all show a tightly packed aggregate of slightly oval chondrules. One of them shows an amorphous triangular clast (carbonaceous?), one of them shows a partially shock-darkened (?) matrix and a large, light-colored chondrule. |

Jeff and others...my slice of NWA 1933 is a dark, almost black. I is a really nice unequilibrated meteorite...and should not to be confused with NWA 1930 which is a more weathered LL3 NWA available at that time. |

I still have my pieces of 1933 too. This is one of the early NWA greats and definitely still stands out of the crowd 13 years on. |
