What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?
Thin section between crossed polarizers.   CV3

TKW 8.1 kg. Fall not observed. FOUND 1961 or 1962, Decatur County, Kansas, USA. Recognized 1965.

Anne writes:
In thin-section, not only does Leoville have elongated chondrules, but also light grey inclusions that look like CAIs but are not - they are achondritic inclusions.
