108.9 grams. 56 x 39 x 33 mm.   LL3.2

TKW 50 kg. Observed fall 1946, Nikolayev, Ukraine.

jnmczurich writes:
Krymka is a reclassified LL3.2 chondrite. Before 2007 it was classied as LL3.1 chondrite.

Fresh partial end section with black crust and some shallow regmaglypts.

The sample originally came from a Ukrainian museum. Dealer trade in 1995.

Krymka is densely packed with well defined chondrules and chondrule fragments. Simply one of the most beautiful unequilibrated chondrites I have ever seen. The close-up pictures show fields of 6x8mm.
