Roberto writes:
I've been looking for a piece of Park Forest for a while. Well, I just got my first piece in, today. While not a complete individual, this acquisition checks off a few boxes and its got a hell of a story and great provenance. I purchased it from Frank Cressy, the author of "From Weston to Creston" (If you don't have this book, order it ASAP, its awesome).

This specimen is an 11.32g fragment of the stone that peppered the side of 77 Winslow St. Park Forest, IL. As the story goes, it impacted the road and ricocheted into the house, causing damage to the house's vinyl siding. Pieces of the stone were subsequently recovered by Michael Farmer days after the fall.
