49.39 grams.   CV3

TKW 2 tons. Observed fall 8 February 1969, at the village of Pueblito de Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico.

James writes:
Allende is near the top of my favorite meteorite list. I could gaze at slices of Allende in the microscope for hours. This particular slice is 49.39 grams. There is so much going on in this slice it reminds me of slides of protozoa from biology class.
