TKW 993 grams. Observed fall 22 Apr 2012, Sutter's Mill, California, USA.

          Falling Rocks

John writes:
This is my 0.126 gram collection specimen of the special Sutter's Mill fall from 7 years ago (2012) on April 22. The fragment was acquired from Steve Arnold, of the Meteorite Men, with a reference that the specimen was part of S.M. specimen # 39.

It turns out that Mike Miller found this specimen(#39) as part of a 2.5 gram find. I got 5% of the entire mass !

This beautiful carbonaceous chondrite is a regolith breccia. It consists mainly of CM material and even contains some enstatite chondrite or achondrite material!
