Unusual looking Nakhlite...looks more like a Chassignite at first....wonderful find.

What an incredible new Martian! They are always to varied and interesting, and from Argentina no less. Great share, I just saw it come up on the MetBull Database the other day. Awesome!

It is a nakhlite, which are darker than shergottites. Also, certain polishing methods can make it look much darker than a fresh cut would. To me it looks an earth rock on its way to being serpentinite. Really NICE meteorite by the way!!!

That's so black, my first guess would NOT have been Martian, but some flavor of CC.
