NWA 242 is a fresh L6 chondrite that looks a lot like
ALHA 76009 (L6) though it is much fresher - especially
with regard to the jet-black fusion crust. Just like in
its Antarctic counterpart, the FeNi specks are surrounded
by rusty halos.
