From a friend today: There is a special exhibit in Paris on meteorites at the moment so it must be on loan from the museum in Alabama. Hanno, was it at the special exhibit which will close June 10th?

I was also surprised to see this piece in Paris.
No idea why it is there.

Is it a cast? Did the The Alabama Museum of Natural History loan (or sell or trade) the original to the Paris Museum? |
