Most interesting photo. Approx. how long does it take for lickens to grow that much over the meteorite? |

Hey Anonymous, any chance of adding it to the strewn field data? |

LOL about all of the confusion caused by finding Gold Basin stones in Nevada. Personally, I'm convinced that Joe has found the first Nevada Gold Basin and that Larry has extended the GB strewn-field another ~5 miles. But we need to "get all of the ducks in a row" before we can scientifically prove these are Gold Basin stones. First, there is this 15+ year old problem that needs to be resolved - Gold Basin (L6) and Gold Basin (L4) need to be reconciled. |

There was a recent 7900 gram whole stone found, what is the largest intact piece found? |

Hey Michael, Larry realizes that his nearby stone was classified as "L6", but he has no control of what is written and appears above the line "Larry writes". All of that stuff above that line is automatically canned-in and comes from the Met.Bull. entry for "Gold Basin".
Too bad there wasn't a mention this was found in Nevada.
The line that has a link to a map which points to somebody's private property in Arizona is unfortunate and should be removed. |

Hey Larry, Great Job of recording Joe's find. Glad you were there to document Joe's discovery of these "probable Gold Basin" on the Nevada side of the Colorado River. |
