I love it, I hope to someday own a piece of this one as nice as yours Anne! Fantastic fall event. I was able to drool over the amazing large specimen in the Ohio State uni. museum some years back... Thanks Anne and Paul.

Anne Black is this considered recrystallised to a degree and is the second image of a relic chondrule?? Beautiful light matrix! Grey, black, brown, white I really dig it.

Thanks!! Glad you like it. And Dr. Mike, I like meteorites with a story, even if not always true, so I always have some in "my hat". :-)

Ohio's greatest meteorite shower, strangely most famous for what no evidence supports it did: killed a colt. Unless it was Sam Colt, America's first mass marketer and industrialist, and pyromaniac, who died 20 months later!

You always seem to pull nice meteorites out of "the hat," Anne.
