HIDAKA Y. et al. (2019) Siderophile element characteristics of acapulcoite-lodranites and winonaites: Implications for the early differentiation processes of their parent bodies (MAPS 54-05, 2019, 1153-1166, p. 1159): ... NWA 725 is possibly related to the chondritic projectile which caused
breakup and reassembly of the winonaite*IAB parent body. |

Read the 2019 article, and it is sorta-suggesting this was once W3 material...for least altered winonaite chondritic material on the outside of the parent body. So it is settled ?? :> |

nice pics Roberto. This particular material is and has been confounding. It has chondrules...and more than a few relicts. I still look at my thin section and I see a chondrite. Oh well...it likely once was ?? |
