thank you all, for the compliments made on this specimen. Thanks to Bernd Pauli, I hadn't noticed the triangle. I think the ALLENDE meteorite is a specimen that must be cut, to admire its magnificent interior, and at the same time also admire its magnificent crust. |

A beauty, indeed, with a Monnig no. It can*t get much better: busy matrix, nice fresh crust, a hole where a chondrule most probably broke off, good overall shape. Congrats - a masterpiece of a famous CV3 stone! |
