What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?    
Thin section.   Lunar (anorth)

TKW 10.8 grams. Fall not observed. Found 15 January 2002, Oman.

Pictures are in plane polarized and cross polarized light. Field of view is 14 x 19 mm.

So cool...Lunar "soup" or regolith in full display here. Is this thin section made from the one 10.8g individual mentioned in the bulletin?? Thanks for sharing.
