Zelimir, it's from Mirko Graul, May 2010. TKW is confusing for me; I read 200+gms - one stone,,,then how could this be a nodule? Maybe an endcut? |

I have in collection 2 nice end-sections (17.1 g and 18.8 g) of NWA 2932, purchased from Blaine Reed respectively in 2006 and 2010. My writeup regerding the history & scientific significance of that meteorite is as follows:
Initially, a single stone weighing 206 grams was purchased by Greg Hup* in Erfoud, Morocco in 2004. Curiously, this meteorite is paired with NWA 2923. (NB: Met. Bull data give tkw = 206 g, which is highly unlikely. The 15+ kg value, as suggested by Blaine Reed*s (reliable) sources, is a far more realistic figure. Nevertheless, since that time, many
more specimens have been found, bringing the tkw to over 200 kg ! (reference missing here).
A nice MPOD (Feb 19, 2023) shows a lovely end-section of a 6.43 g nodule.
I would love to hear more about the history & the tkw of this meteorite.
