@ Davio Ribeca; no - its only cut. Not polished. @ Bernd Pauli; The Achondritic inclusion has a melted chondritic precursor with relict chondrules visible in REM. Interesting fact about the inclusion: its SiO in it and its aqueous altered! Very special inclusion. And rare. One slice out of 600... so @ Craig Moody; Yes - I*ve been very lucky.

869 never ceases to amaze me! Just think, if it had been sliced 1cm in either direction, this would have been missed.

Very nice specimen, Michael... Is this specimen polished? Photo 3 would indicate that it's not. I wonder what the inclusions would look like if highly polished..
