Possibly fell 1999 June, 23 hrs local time

A. Pani purchased ~2 kg of a meteorite broken into several fragments from an anonymous finder who claims to have recovered it after observing it fall. Mineralogy and classification (F. Brandstätter, NHMV): a brecciated meteorite covered by black fresh fusion crust; interior is light-grey, with white-grey and dark-grey angular fragments (<1 cm up to several centimeters in size); main part has type 3 texture with well-defined chondrules, some with brownish glass; chondrules in some clasts are slightly deformed and matrix is recrystallized, typical of petrologic type 4 or 5;
