124.1 grams and 22.7 grams.   Pallasite, PMG-an

TKW 700 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1749 in Krasnoyarskiy kray, Russia.

Jürgen/jnmczurich writes:
Not really egg-shaped, but nice looking…

The larger 124.1g Krasnojarsk fragment with the glued small label "Po. V. 820." was originally listed as specimen no. 820 in the inventory of the "Polytechnische Sammlung V." (1855-1902). The collection belonged to the "Eidgenössische Polytechnische Schule" (antecessor organization of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich, Switzerland (ETHZ). This Krasnojarsk sample has been with jnmczurich since 12/1990 (exchange).

The smaller 22.7g Krasnojarsk fragment was also received in exchange from a German Mineralogical Museum in 9/1991.
