Nice illustration of the curious feature, thanks! I'm wondering if what you're all calling a bleached chondrule refers to a possible chemically reduced chondrule or metal-free chondrule or glass, and bleached as just lack of color. I would think actual bleaching would add color where metal is concerned. |

personally I like photo 7...the colors are close in it. |

Graham, Bernd, Don and others...for my Fisheye specimen, to me this feature is a unique looking bleached chondrule. The photo color is not quite right because the outer rim should be a light colored lime green. The center "eye" is a charcoal color. When first cut the lime green was more pronounced. When I went to take a picture of this piece months later I noticed it wasn't quite as green...and fading toward a whiter color. I have seen similar eye-like chondrules in cut Chelyabinsk specimens. |

Very nice! Thanks for sharing, and all the pics. What is the inclusion?

Could this be an absolutely fresh bleached chondrule??? |

Interesting slice and inclusion...not at all sure what that is?
