You are welcome everybody! I am glad you all like it, I'll tell Alain Carion. Thank you Doug for the very complete historical background. And Matthias, you are very funny! :-))

Nice iron. But is it worth the attempt to drop honey on it for attracting the majestic Rocky Monuntain Grizzly? Seriously, Anne, this is a treasure from the very, very heart of meteoritics.

More than a meteorite, a chronicle the rise and fall of empires, Tsars, Kings and Emperors: the Romanovs, Bourbons and Bonapartes among others - the discovery of it - the type specimen of the pallasite by Pallas, extra-terrestrial Tiffany gems rated by Kunz, and the scientific discovery by Thomson of Thomson-Widmanstatten figures! And that doesn't even cover its connection to Thomas Jefferson, the English or Prussians! Bravo!
